SMALL BRAND FUNDRAISER.
Overview
This t-shirt design was for a fundraiser to support Ernestina, an artisan in Ghana, West Africa. She is a seamstress and makes batik handbags and accessories. She employs single mothers and teaches them to sew so they can make a living of their own.
All of the funds raised from this project will go toward the completion of her new sewing center / residence.

In a design like this, focal point would be a simple “house”, representing the sewing center/residence that Ernestina is constructing.
Elements included:
Landscape and culture such as baobab trees, plants like a yucca or agave
Winding dirt road
Ocean water (because she’s near the port city of Tema on the southern coast of Ghana)
A rooster
A cassava field
